What are the responsibilities and job description for the Switching Operator position at ITC?
Job description:
- Comply with all internal, environmental, and safety policies, rules, and regulations.
- Responsible for switching operations throughout the terminal per ITC procedures and applicable regulations.
- Ensure proper connection and disconnection of railcars.
- Monitor for leaks and/or spills of product and take proper corrective action.
- Assist in other areas of the terminal as requested by Supervisor/Manager.
- Maintain good safety awareness and housekeeping practices.
Required Skills and qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Good communication and math skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to accurately complete paperwork.
- One year industry related experience is preferred.
