Overview
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing electrical systems and components for various projects. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform Circuit Design and board layout of new systems for interfacing with hardware
- Participate in the complete design cycle of electrical subsystems, which may include conceptual and detailed design, trade studies, development testing and qualification
- Perform engineering calculations to validate component and system design
- Generate manufacturing drawings to ensure form, fit and function
- Create documentation for assembly and testing of electrical systems
- Prepare engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation.
- Designing, ordering, assembling, and evaluating design features to ensure form fit and function
Skills:
- Ability to work independently and on a team to keep projects moving forward and solve problems.
- Demonstrated Proficiency with electrical design software, such as Altium Designer (Preferred) or OrCAD, to create schematics, PCB layouts, and system designs.
- Understanding of electronic manufacturing processes and soldering standards
- Experience with C/C and/or Python development with embedded platforms, Clients/SoMs, and microcontrollers.
- Ability to develop technical documentation, including wiring diagrams, circuit schematics, and documentation for testing, troubleshooting, and quality control.
- Detail-oriented and able to catch problems early on so that the engineering team can troubleshoot and guarantee that we produce a quality product.
- Hands-on ability to assemble and test electrical assemblies independently, ensuring alignment with design specifications and functionality
- Interface with clients for requirements development and design feedback.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $90.00 - $110.00 per hour
