Cleared Test Engineer

ITCON Services is actively seeking a talented individual with an active TS/SCI with CI Poly clearance to join our team as a Test Engineer to design, execute, and refine testing procedures for hardware and software components. The ideal candidate will ensure that computer systems, peripherals, and embedded technologies meet performance, reliability, and safety standards. This role requires expertise in debugging, automation, and test documentation to optimize product development and quality assurance.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and execute test plans and test cases for computer systems, hardware, and software applications.
• Perform functional, performance, stress, and regression testing to ensure product reliability.
• Identify, document, and troubleshoot hardware and software defects, working closely with development teams to resolve issues.
• Utilize automated testing frameworks to improve testing efficiency and accuracy.
• Analyze test results, generate reports, and provide recommendations for system improvements.
• Collaborate with hardware and software engineers to refine system designs and testing strategies.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and customer requirements.
• Maintain and upgrade test environments, tools, and methodologies to support evolving technology.
• Assist in certification processes and validation for new and existing products.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3 years of relevant experience
• Experience with hardware and software testing methodologies, tools, and automation frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of test scripting languages (Python, Java, Shell, etc.).
• Familiarity with debugging tools, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and diagnostic software.
• Hands-on experience with operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS) and networking protocols.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong documentation and reporting abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.

• Must possess an active TS/SCI with CI Poly clearance
• Must be within driving distance of Richardson, Texas, or willing to relocate to the area (Relocation Assistance Package Available)
• Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires U.S. citizenship status
• Must be willing to work onsite
