Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee all accounts receivable collections, and invoicing, including submissions in invoicing portals such as IPP and WAWF.
- Oversee the project control function within Unanet to include setting up new projects, adding in people assignments and budgets, and updating based on modifications.
- Verifying PoP dates, and alerting the Controller to projects that are ending, or have a shortfall of funding.
- Oversee all day-to-day accounting activities ensuring the accurate and timely processing of accounts receivable (customer invoices), and general ledger entries.
- Reviewing project margins (JSRs) and giving recommendations to the Controller on ways to add efficiencies to the programs.
- Reviewing JSRs to ensure coding and charging is correct and working with the team when there are discrepancies.
- Coordinate and assist with audits with all external independent auditors (annual financial statement audit, bank audits and other audits as required) and prepare of required items in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP as well as some knowledge of DCAA compliance and FAR clauses.
- Assist with the development, implementation of and monitoring adherence to company accounting policies and procedures.
- Adhoc assignments as assigned by the Controller.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required.
- Minimum of 4-6 Years in government contracting.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience with Unanet.
- Knowledge of T&M and CPFF contracts
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple time-sensitive tasks.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to quality.
- Perform work under very limited supervision requiring the need to exercise independent judgement and attention to details.
