This is a hybrid role requiring four days per week on-site at ITCON Services headquarters in Tysons Corner, Vienna, Virginia.
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee the project control function within Unanet to include setting up new projects, adding in people assignments and budgets, and updating based on modifications.
- Reviewing JSRs to ensure coding and charging is correct and working with the team when there are discrepancies.
- Monitor project costs and expenses, ensuring accurate and timely billing, and managing change orders.
- Daily timesheet import of call center agents, and making timesheet adjustments at the end of timesheet period, per managers.
- Invoicing on the projects and reconciling subcontractor hours.
- As sist in developing financial models and risk assessments for project decision-making.
- Conduct regular project reviews, analyzing financial data to assess project health and identify areas for cost optimization.
- Monitor project costs and expenses, ensuring accurate and timely billing, and managing change orders.
- Provide detailed financial reports to project managers, stakeholders, and senior management on project progress, including cost tracking, revenue recognition, and potential risks.
- Conduct regular project reviews, analyzing financial data to assess project health and identify areas for cost optimization.
- Coordinate and assist with audits with all external independent auditors (annual financial statement audit, bank audits and other audits as required) and prepare of required items in a timely manner.
- Adhoc assignments as assigned by the Controller.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required.
- 3-5 years of experience in project controlling, financial analysis in a government contracting setting.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience with Unanet.
- Knowledge of T&M and CPFF contracts
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple time-sensitive tasks.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to quality.
- Perform work under very limited supervision requiring the need to exercise independent judgement and attention to details.
