ITCON Services is seeking to hire a motivated, driven, and technically knowledgeable Mid-Level Salesforce Developer to join our team. The Salesforce Developer will be responsible for performing all aspects of a software application development and/ or O&M contracts, including working with analysists, developers, performing design, Salesforce configuration, coding, code reviews, deployments, and other project responsibilities to deliver successfully on projects. Responsibilities will include and not limited to, following SDLC best practices, sprint, and release planning, understanding customer needs, conducting business analysis, monitoring development/ execution, conducting work-product acceptance, facilitating user acceptance, reporting, and quality assurance of project process flow.

The candidate needs to work with minimal supervision, employ effective time management skills to organize and work on highly visible priorities, projects, and products simultaneously. Additional tasks will include advising and instructing project teams on process improvements to promote efficient project delivery and adherence to processes and standards (e.g., PMI and Agile frameworks).

This opening is for a full-time salaried position located in the ITCON Services headquarters in Tysons, VA. Applicant must be a permanent resident or citizen of the United States.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • or - REQUIRED
  • Bachelor s degree in management information systems or related field preferred
  • 5 years of experience Knowledge of Agile methodologies and working across entire software development lifecycle including design, development, testing, implementation, deployment, maintenance.
  • 3 years of Salesforce design and configuration experience with Salesforce Service and Salesforce Partner Community Cloud, configuring Themes, Page Layouts, custom objects, list views, and building complex processes with Flow and Process Builder.
  • 3 years of proven experience with APEX programming
  • 3 years of experience in building Salesforce Lightning UI, LWC, HTML, XML, JavaScript, and CSS.
  • 3 years of design and development experience in integrating Salesforce with other applications using REST API and MuleSoft
  • 3 years of experience with SOQL, Salesforce reports and dashboards
  • 3 years of experience performing data migration.
  • Experience of at least one Full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) of Salesforce implementation
  • Ability to analyze and translate functional business requirements from stakeholders into detailed design and development tasks.
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Strong written and oral and communication skills
  • Attention to details.
  • Ability to communicate and present complex technical concepts and analysis to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Expert level understanding of SDLC and best practices

  • Ability to multithread and move multiple projects forward.
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I and II Certification
