Machine Operator/Assembler

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Machine Operator to join our team in a fast-paced manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating machinery, fabricating products, and working on an assembly line. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to use both hand tools and power tools effectively. As a Machine Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes.

Responsibilities

• Operate various types of machinery within the manufacturing facility to fabricate and assemble products.
• Monitor machine operations to ensure quality standards are met throughout the production process.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any mechanical issues that arise.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for assembly tasks.
• Collaborate with team members on the assembly line to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Operate forklifts as needed for material handling within the warehouse.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Machine Operator or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and assembly line processes.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with others.
• Forklift certification is a plus but not required; training may be provided.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift materials as needed.

Pay: $12.00 - $12.50 per hour
