OVERVIEW
iTech AG seeks a skilled Senior Project Manager (PM) to lead a comprehensive IT application development and automation project for the IRS. Oversee projects aimed at enhancing IRS IT operations, focusing on application analysis, data integration, SharePoint and ServiceNow development, and increased automation to streamline workflows. The PM will serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders and drive successful project execution from planning through completion, with an emphasis on risk management, quality assurance, and timely delivery.
This role requires an experienced leader with a strategic mindset, a strong understanding of project management principles, and expertise in managing complex IT projects.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee the full project lifecycle, applying PMBOK best practices to meet contract goals and IRS-specific requirements.
- Ensure effective planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting to meet timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Act as the primary point of contact for the Contracting Officer (CO), Contracting Officer's Representative (COR), Government Project Leads, and other key stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain a communication plan to facilitate consistent, transparent, and timely project updates.
- Identify, assess, and implement mitigation strategies for project risks and issues.
- Lead the creation of a tailored risk management plan to ensure project objectives are met and track and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Guide and oversee iTech AG's team performance, address conflicts and performance concerns, and ensure alignment with contract requirements.
- Provide regular updates to leadership and maintain accountability for project success.
- Prepare and deliver weekly and monthly status reports, meeting agendas, and minutes.
- Oversee schedule and plan updates, bi-weekly presentations, bi-weekly metrics, and quarterly lessons-learned reports to support IRS objectives.
- Leverage corporate knowledge and lessons learned from similar federal agency projects to enhance project delivery and minimize risks.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
