As a Tax Manager, you will oversee the preparation, review, and delivery of complex tax engagements while managing and mentoring a team of tax professionals.This role requires onsite presence in Honolulu, offering a collaborative environment and opportunities for career advancement.ResponsibilitiesPerform technical tax reviews and approve complex tax returns and governmental tax examinations.Take full responsibility for larger tax returns and delegate work to preparers as appropriate.Provide advanced technical expertise to advise clients on complex tax issues.Manage all tasks related to client service, ensuring assignments are completed within budgeted time.Delegate and oversee tax research projects for accuracy and efficiency.Represent clients during governmental tax examinations and communicate effectively with taxing authorities.Supervise and train tax staff, ensuring their development and proficiency in technical skills.Maintain familiarity with staff qualifications and ensure appropriate staff assignments.Participate in the evaluation and review processes for the Tax Department.Qualifications5-7 years of public accounting experience, demonstrating progression in tax complexity and research.At least 1 year of experience supervising and directing tax preparers.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; Master’s degree in Taxation preferred.A current and valid CPA license is required.Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.Compensation and BenefitsSalary : $130,000 - $155,000 per year.Opportunities for professional growth and leadership development.#J-18808-Ljbffr
