Solution Architect
The client is seeking a professional to lead various information technology and business intelligence efforts. The successful candidate will be a passionate data professional who can identify strategies and best practices and provide direction and support to a team of BI/DW developers.
Minimum Qualifications
The minimum skills and experience level required for a candidate to be considered for this position include:
- A self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving ability
- Experience providing guidance and leadership to technical staff
- Minimum of 9 years experience as a data warehouse developer/database developer
- Minimum of 5 years experience architecting data models
- Thorough understanding of data warehousing concepts, Star Schema design, and slowly changing dimensions
- Minimum of 5 years experience analyzing administrative datasets
- Minimum of 9 years experience with MS SQL Server 2016/2019/2022 including T-SQL programming and scripting
- Minimum of 9 years experience building Business Intelligence solutions (reports, dashboards, scorecards) using Microsoft Business Intelligence technology stack (SSRS, SSIS, SSAS), Power BI, Tableau, or other visualization technology
- Minimum of 5 years experience assembling and validating large datasets for research/analysis
- Have experience identifying data acquisition strategies, designing Master Data Management solutions, and implementing data governance processes
- Minimum of 5 years experience working with data in Excel
- Minimum of 9 years experience in gathering and analyzing business requirements
- Ability to work with staff of varying skill levels, both technical and non-technical
- Strong communications skills including written, verbal, presentation and interpersonal
- Proven ability to produce quality work independently, with minimal supervision
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
