Position: SAP PPQM Consultant
Location: Raritan, NJ
Job Description:
- Solution Design: Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical designs for custom applications and extensions on SAP PPQM
- Development: There should be minimum knowledge on analyzing, debugging, and identifying customized programming solutions.
- Integration: Integrate custom applications and extensions with other SAP and non-SAP systems using various integration technologies such as SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) and SAP Process Integration (PI/PO).
- Testing and Quality Assurance: Plan and execute unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing for custom applications and extensions.
- Ensure the reliability, performance, and security of applications under various scenarios.
- Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation including design specifications, code documentation, and user manuals.
- Provide training and knowledge transfer to end-users and support teams on custom applications and extensions.
- Support and Maintenance: Provide ongoing support and maintenance for custom applications and extensions deployed on SAP PPQM.
- Monitor application performance, diagnose technical issues, and implement bug fixes and enhancements as needed.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest SAP technologies and best practices related to SAP PPQM.
- Participate in training programs, workshops, and conferences to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Strong understanding of the business values, technical architecture, and catalogue of services from Production Planning and Quality Management area.
- Development experience with one or more PPQM extension technologies: Knowledge of databases features (HANA), and experience with Fiori.
- Familiarity with platform services generally used for technical tasks, like Audit Log, HANA Cloud, Notifications, Cloud Foundry, CI/CD, SAP Business Application Studio, Transport Management, Connectivity.
- Some experience in automated software testing.
- Knowledge of the software development life cycle
- Solid understanding of integration concepts and capabilities of PPQM Integration Suite.
- Familiar with Agile development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Preferred certificate: Certified in SAP PPQM
Education: At least a bachelor s degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Software/Electronics Engineering, Information Systems, or closely related field is required.
