We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Perform patient assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Utilize aseptic techniques in all procedures to prevent infection.
- Assist with various nursing procedures, including IV insertion, gastric lavage, and suture care.
- Provide care for patients across different age groups, including toddlers and seniors.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Document patient information accurately in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and wellness strategies.
- Participate in critical care situations as needed, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Vocational Nurse in the state of practice.
- Strong knowledge of medical-surgical nursing principles.
- Experience or training in senior care and toddler care is preferred.
- Proficiency in coding for medical records is a plus.
- Familiarity with critical care protocols and procedures.
