Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments and provide appropriate medical care in emergency situations
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care
- Utilize electronic health record systems such as Cerner for accurate documentation
- Assist in the coordination of patient transfers to higher-level care facilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Perform various nursing procedures with precision and attention to detail
Requirements
- Previous experience in an Emergency Room setting or similar fast-paced environment is preferred
- Familiarity with Level II Trauma Center protocols and procedures is a plus
- Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record systems like Cerner
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle emergency situations calmly
- Experience with patient assessment, home care, and assisted living is beneficial
- Knowledge of medical coding, DME (Durable Medical Equipment), and lift systems is advantageous
- Willingness to travel for nursing assignments if required
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $50.00 - $53.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 per week
