Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Room team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to patients in critical situations and be a vital part of our healthcare team.
Duties
- Perform triage assessments to determine patient needs promptly
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and record patient vital signs
- Assist in medical procedures such as catheterization and sonography
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical documentation
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to ensure excellent patient care
- Provide care to patients of all ages, including pediatrics, with a focus on compassion and empathy
- Utilize laboratory results and medical records for patient assessment and treatment planning
Requirements
- Valid RN license in the state of practice
- Previous experience in an Emergency Room setting preferred
- Proficiency in handling emergency situations with calmness and efficiency
- Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and colleagues
- Knowledge of medical equipment operation and maintenance
- Familiarity with electronic health records systems for accurate documentation
