Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in Medical/Surgical care to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing high-quality patient care in a medical/surgical setting.
Duties
- Perform physical examinations and health assessments
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and assess patients' conditions, providing appropriate interventions
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention and management
- Assist in surgical procedures and post-operative care
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
Experience
- Proficiency in ICD-9 coding for accurate medical documentation
- Experience in pediatric care, including infant care and family planning
- Knowledge of dermatological procedures such as dermal fillers
- Familiarity with DME (Durable Medical Equipment) usage and maintenance
- Competence in MDS (Minimum Data Set) assessments for patient care planning
- Ability to perform specimen collection processing accurately
- Strong background in medical-surgical nursing, including post-operative care
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team

Pay: $42.00 - $45.00 per hour
