Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Medical/Surgical unit. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in medical/surgical settings
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and assess patients' conditions and report changes to healthcare providers
- Assist in surgical procedures in the operating room (OR)
- Perform phlebotomy and IV insertion
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
- Implement infection control measures to ensure patient safety
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
Qualifications
- Valid RN license in the state of practice
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical/surgical nursing preferred
- Proficiency in various medical procedures such as Botulinum toxin treatment, dialysis, trauma medicine, and dermal fillers
- Knowledge of infectious disease care and prevention
- Ability to multitask and prioritize patient needs effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems
