Job Overview
As a Progressive Care Nurse, you will be responsible for providing specialized nursing care for patients with critical and complex medical conditions. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care in a progressive care unit setting.
Duties
- Administer medications and treatments to patients
- Monitor and assess patient conditions
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members
- Implement and evaluate patient care plans
- Perform advanced nursing procedures such as specimen collection processing and esthetic laser treatments
- Assist in pain management and dialysis procedures
- Conduct physical examinations and spinal taps as needed
- Provide basic life support and discharge planning for patients
Requirements
- Previous experience in nursing home or long-term care settings preferred
- Proficiency in esthetic laser treatment, specimen collection processing, pain management, dialysis, and spinal tap procedures is a plus
- Ability to perform physical examinations and provide basic life support
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Pay: $2,500.00 - $2,600.00 per week
