Job Summary
As an X-ray Technician, you will play a crucial role in the healthcare field by performing diagnostic imaging examinations on patients to help physicians diagnose and treat medical conditions.
Responsibilities
- Operate X-ray equipment to produce images of tissues, organs, bones, and vessels within the body
- Position patients correctly and shield them from radiation to ensure safety
- Follow protocols to capture high-quality images for accurate diagnosis
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure patient confidentiality
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to discuss imaging results and patient care
Qualifications
- Certification or Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Experience in diagnostic radiology, CT, and sonography is advantageous
- Familiarity with working in urgent care settings or trauma centers (Level I or II)
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment such as an ER or trauma center
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $2,218.00 - $2,337.00 per week
