Description
The Program Analyst provides essential support for grant review processes, ensuring
compliance with SAMHSA guidelines and objectives. This role involves analyzing Notice of
Funding Opportunities (NOFOs), assisting with peer reviewer recruitment, facilitating grant
application reviews, and generating comprehensive data-driven reports to improve program
effectiveness.
Responsibilities :
Review and analyze requirements to identify critical elements for compliance and
program alignment.
Assist in the recruitment, vetting, and training of peer reviewers, ensuring adherence to
program-specific criteria.
Monitor peer reviewer progress, address delays, and support discrepancy discussions
during the review process.
Perform quality checks of peer reviewer scores and comments, ensuring consistency
with evaluation guidelines.
Draft summary statements for grant applications, consolidating reviewer feedback into
concise, accurate documents.
Conduct data analysis on grant applications and peer reviewers, contributing to year-end
reporting and process improvements.
Facilitate communication with applicants and reviewers, including tracking
correspondence and managing notifications.
Participate in post-season improvement projects to refine and enhance grant review
processes.
Education :
Bachelor's Degree in a related field (e.g., Public Administration, Business, or Data
Analytics)
At least 2 years of relevant work experience (preferably in the GovCon space).
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS)
