Position Overview
We are seeking a Back-End Developer with expertise in database-driven development, API integrations, and ETL processes to design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems. This role will focus on data management, optimization, and transformation, ensuring that enterprise applications are efficient, reliable, and well-integrated across platforms. The ideal candidate will work closely with Solutions Architects, Front End Developers, and QA teams to build robust backend solutions that support complex business workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-performance solutions to support enterprise data processing and system integrations.
- Optimize SQL databases for performance, scalability, and data integrity.
- Ensure seamless integration with Power BI and Excel-based business intelligence solutions.
- Collaborate with Solutions Architects and Front-End Developers to align technical implementations with business goals.
- Implement authentication mechanisms (OKTA, Azure AD) and security best practices.
- Document technical specifications and track development progress in Jira, Confluence, and/or Azure DevOps.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in back-end development with a strong focus on Tomcat, SQL, and Azure services.
- Expertise in database query optimization and API development for high-performance applications.
- Experience integrating Excel-based financial models and Power BI dashboards into enterprise solutions.
- Proficiency in security protocols, authentication frameworks, and role-based access controls (RBAC).
- Strong ability to document and communicate technical decisions effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- 7 years of experience in backend development, particularly in financial, enterprise, or regulatory environments.
- Strong understanding of business logic, workflow automation, and compliance-driven development.
- Financial industry experience, including handling financial transactions, regulatory compliance, or financial data processing.
- Familiarity with financial reporting, compliance-driven systems, and business intelligence integrations.
