Job Summary
As a Labor and Delivery Nurse, you will be responsible for providing care and support to women during childbirth. You will work closely with obstetricians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe deliveries and optimal outcomes for both mother and baby.
Responsibilities
- Monitor the health of the mother and baby during labor
- Assist with pain management techniques
- Administer medications as needed
- Assist with medical procedures such as catheterization, ventilation, and venipuncture
- Educate patients on newborn care and breastfeeding
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans
Requirements
- NICU Labor and Delivery and circulating experience REQUIRED, NICU heavy requirement scrub, pediatrics, NICU experience a plus. Must have ACLS, NRP, and BLS. Additional experience preferred in scrubbing in for C-sections, NICU, or pediatrics.
