We are currently searching for a NTM Category Buyer- Direct, located in Greensboro, NC.
Job Summary:
Under limited supervision, responsible for managing the assigned categories, delivering commercial agreements which optimize value for money for NTMs. Additionally, the Buyer is responsible for the development and implementation of strategies to improve efficiency and deliver quality, supply, and cost performance across factories while maintaining all regulatory mandates for NTM. Manages the relationships with the suppliers for the assigned categories. Develop peer relationships and continually collaborate with key stakeholders ensuring that commercial delivery and internal service are equally balanced.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Category Management and Procurement for the purchase of all NTMs for the Region
- Drive and deliver commercial agreements optimizing value for money
- Adhere to standard global procurement processes
- Ensure early procurement engagement in projects and significant spend areas to maximize impact
- Develop deep product and supplier knowledge to drive continuous improvement within the categories managed
- Ensure risk management and contingency planning is in place for all key suppliers
- Develop peer relationships and continually work with key stakeholders to obtain their inputs and ensure strategies and supplier base meet business requirements
- Raise instances of non-compliance to internal stakeholder ways of working
- Undertake adequate analysis and planning to enable effective supplier negotiations which deliver a world class cost base
- Work within the ITGB procurement team and IB Global Procurement in adherence of all standards and expectations on NTM procurement process.
- Partner with Internal Compliance Group to ensure all aspects of Direct Procurement are compliant with Legal and Regulatory expectation
Create and implement Procurement category strategies
- Cost management of the assigned categories, through analysis, negotiation and tracking of material cost level
- Review spends for cost opportunities, aiming for a yearly target reduction
- Assist in the development of material specifications
- Evaluate current and new suppliers and conduct tenders, bids, quotations, and proposals
- Utilize ITGB audit system for evaluation of all NTM suppliers
Contract management contracts and roll-out ITG Terms and Conditions (T&Cs) to with existing and new suppliers
- Support the roll-out of contract terms and conditions, and maintain supplier relationships
- Manage relationships and performance of suppliers
- Execute Business Review Meetings
- Administer contract performance, including delivery, receipt, warranty, damages, and insurance for selected contracts
- Manage pricing
- Ensure that IB is getting value for money and what was initially agreed in the contract

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field of study and 3 years related work experience
Knowledge of:
- Intermediate to Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and Microsoft Teams
- Strong knowledge of analysis in Excel
- Strong procurement knowledge, e.g., tendering process, procurement terminology, etc

Preferred Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and 3 years related work experience

Related experience to include:
- 3 years relevant Procurement experience
- Procurement and category management experience
- Tendering knowledge
- Finance or accounting background desirable
