What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resources Assistant position at ITG Communications?
The Human Resources Assistant performs a variety of administrative tasks in support of the human resources department, supporting throughout the employee lifecycle, including onboarding new hires and employee experience to improve retention.
Responsibilities
- Assists in the creation and maintenance of human resources forms or documents.
- Answers basic employee questions about human resources policies or offerings.
- Schedules and leads orientations, or training sessions.
- Processes employee status changes; maintains records of completed transactions.
- Inputs HR-related data and compiles standard reports for management review.
- Coordinates HR projects, including meetings, training sessions, and surveys.
- Acts as a liaison between HR and employees, ensuring smooth communication and prompt resolution of requests and questions.
Requirements
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or GED certificate required; relevant experience is a plus.
Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Extended periods of exposure to computer screen.
Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds at times.
