What are the responsibilities and job description for the Staffing Coordinator position at ITH Staffing?
JOB SUMMARY:
This position is accountable for the staffing function of the Agency in compliance with company policies and procedures and all applicable state and federal laws. The Staffing Coordinator works as part of the team with all other personnel in the ITH Staffing office. Reports to President.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: (Not to be considered all-inclusive)
- Uphold the company image as a customer-service focused, high quality staffing agency.
- Continue knowledge/education to remain productive and up to date on staffing industry and employment law relevant to our industry.
- Conduct new employee orientations.
- Interview applicants both in person or by using various virtual programs (Zoom, Teams, FaceTime, etc.)
- Take job orders from clients and appropriately match applicants/employees with job orders.
- Coach applicants prior to client interviews.
- Communicate with applicants, employees and customers on a regular basis pertaining to placement and follow-through.
- Document client, employee and applicant transactions in database.
- Instill confidence in employees and build self-esteem through acceptance and recognition.
- Encourage teamwork, accountability and a positive attitude.
- Demonstrate and encourage appropriate problem-solving methods.
- Listen and respond to client and employee concerns.
- Report work-related accidents/incidents to Human Resources Manager. Adhere to any and all safety programs of ITH.
- Complete reference checks on applicants.
- Complete pre-employment testing with applicants once preliminary job offer has been made.
- Visit new clients prior to placement and complete OSHA safety form.
- Build relationships with clients. Become an extension to their HR departments. Visit assigned clients 2 or more times per year.
- Other duties and tasks as requested by Management.

SKILLS REQUIRED:
· High School Diploma, willingness to attend provided continuing education/professional development opportunities as necessary to keep current
· Computer skills, including Microsoft Office software and ability to learn industry-specific custom software
· Good communication skills and follow-through on tasks
· Ability to interact in a friendly and professional manner with individuals you have not met, with diverse backgrounds, on a regular basis.
· Team player communicating and working together with other staff members
· Desire to provide excellent customer service to clients and employees.
· Knowledge of recruitment, staffing industry and/or employment laws and regulations a plus
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
· Physical Demand: Sitting, walking, standing, driving, talking, hearing and reaching.
· Travel: 10-15 Percent
· Working Conditions: Inside, office environment.
· Principal Contacts: Employees, customers, potential customers, applicants, co-workers and customer supervisors.
· Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. On-call for emergencies, employee call-ins as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
