Position Title: 6th Grade Mathematics Teacher
Brief Description: DeWitt Middle School seeks an enthusiastic 6th grade teacher to teach Math and work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to create an anti-racist, inclusive and heterogeneous mathematical experience. The overall goal of DeWitt is to create the highest level of relevant math experience for all students with the goal of maximizing enrollment in Algebra 1, earning all students a high school credit.

Required Qualifications:

All candidates must possess New York State Teacher Certification in grades 1-6 or 5-9 Mathematics or qualify to obtain it by the first date of employment. This requires at least a Bachelor's degree. Licensed teachers from other states may qualify for reciprocity.

Salary Range: $53,291-$75,191 (10-month full-time base)
