Arlington Central School District is currently hiring Bus Drivers for the 2024-2025 school year. This position offers a minimum of 25 hours per week with opportunities to work extra hours and offers benefits.
Typical work may include but is not limited to the following :
- Responsible for safe and efficient operation of a school bus used in the transportation of students on an assigned route;
- Check the operating condition of a school bus before starting a regular run or trip;
- Report any mechanical defects of a bus to the bus garage;
- Instruct / inform students and program participants about practices when entering or exiting a bus and while in transit;
- Maintain orderly conduct of students on the bus
