Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and manage front desk operations efficiently.
- Schedule and confirm appointments, ensuring optimal use of the dentist's time.
- Maintain accurate patient records and manage electronic health records using eClinicalWorks.
- Assist patients with inquiries regarding care plans, insurance coverage, and help submitting claims when non-par.
- Handle clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence.
- Coordinate with dental staff to ensure smooth patient flow and high-quality service delivery.
- Process patient payments and manage billing inquiries.
- Ensure compliance with all health regulations and maintain a clean, organized reception area.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a dental office or medical administrative support role is preferred.
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems is a plus.
- Strong typing skills and proficiency in computer software applications.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
- Knowledge of care plans and insurance processes related to dental services is desirable.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in medical administration is a plus.
