Job Type: Full-Time, Part-Time

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Stove Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient installation of wood-burning stoves, gas stoves, pellet stoves, and other heating appliances at residential and commercial properties. The Stove Installer will ensure that all installations comply with safety codes, manufacturer specifications, and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install a variety of stove types including wood stoves, pellet stoves, and gas stoves, ensuring that all installations are in compliance with local regulations and manufacturer instructions.
• Inspect and prepare installation sites, including assessing structural integrity, ventilation requirements, and clearances.
• Connect stoves to necessary fuel sources, such as gas lines or venting systems, following safety protocols.
• Provide customers with clear instructions on stove use, maintenance, and safety guidelines.
• Conduct thorough safety checks to ensure stoves are operating properly, efficiently, and without risk.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any installation-related issues or concerns.
• Maintain inventory of installation materials, tools, and supplies.
• Complete required paperwork, including installation reports and time logs, and submit them in a timely manner.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and local building codes.
• Maintain professional and courteous communication with customers, ensuring excellent customer service throughout the installation process.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, stove models, and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in stove installation or a related field (e.g., heating, plumbing, or HVAC).
• Strong knowledge of installation processes for various types of stoves (wood, gas, pellet, etc.).
• Familiarity with local building codes and safety regulations related to stove installation.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, manuals, and technical specifications.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Physical ability to handle heavy equipment and materials, with good manual dexterity.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Strong customer service skills and a professional demeanor.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Certification or training in stove installation, HVAC, or a related field is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment (up to [insert weight]).
• Ability to work in tight spaces, on ladders, and in various weather conditions.
• Capable of standing, bending, kneeling, and working in physically demanding environments for extended periods.
