This Sr. Manager, Finance Transformation and Revenue Operations role is a strategic and transformational leadership position reporting directly to the CFO. Leading a team of three finance professionals, you will be a key partner in the reimagination of the finance function, leveraging technology and process redesign to deliver sustainable impact.
This role demands a visionary leader who can identify and execute opportunities for transformation while aligning finance initiatives with long-term organizational goals. Collaboration with stakeholders across finance and business functions will be essential in driving this mission forward.
The Role
This Senior Manager, Finance Transformation and Revenue Operations is a pivotal role that supports the Finance transformation agenda, with primary focus on transforming the Revenue and A/R area and managing a senior revenue accountant.
Responsibilities
- Transformational Leadership
- Process Redesign and Automation:
- Assess current workflows within Revenue and A/R, identifying inefficiencies and manual touch points.
- Lead automation efforts, prioritizing high-impact areas and automated reporting. Collaborate with the team to ensure Salesforce implementation is fully leveraged.
- Develop and implement a phased roadmap for transformation aligned with organizational goals.
- Data Stewardship and Governance:
- Act as the custodian of financial data within the Revenue and A/R area.
- Establish practices for consistent data creation, transformation, and governance.
- Enhance dimensionality in the chart of accounts for granular and insightful reporting.
- Enhanced Reporting and Analytics:
- Accelerate the development of comprehensive and dynamic reporting for Revenue and A/R.
- Introduce advanced analytics to support data-driven decision-making.
- Organizational Support
- Team Management:
- Directly supervise one senior revenue accountant and two revenue accountants, ensuring clear communication of priorities and goals.
- Provide coaching and development opportunities to elevate the team's capabilities.
- Controller Support:
- Act as a trusted advisor to the controller, offering insights and strategies for improved financial operations.
- Collaborate on cross-functional initiatives, expanding beyond Revenue and A/R and aligning with broader organizational transformations.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Change Management:
- Design and execute change management strategies to support the adoption of new tools, processes, and practices.
- Facilitate training and create resources to equip the team with skills needed for transformation success.
- Collaboration:
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders, including Finance, IT, sales, and senior leadership, to ensure alignment on transformation goals.
- Ongoing travel may be necessary, focusing primarily on visits to our Michigan and New York offices.
- Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA or similar certification preferred.
- 7 years of experience in finance operations, with a focus on Revenue and A/R transformation.
- Technical Expertise:
- Proficiency with ERP systems, financial automation tools, and data visualization platforms. Salesforce experience is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with emerging and more mature finance technologies such as AI and RPA.
- Leadership and Collaboration:
- Proven ability to manage and develop teams, fostering a culture of accountability and innovation.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to build trust and gain buy-in across diverse teams.
- Demonstrated success leading process improvements, operating model redesigns, and the implementation of new technologies.

Compensation and Benefits
At ITHAKA we believe in openness and equity. Part of living those values is our commitment to clarity about salary ranges, so candidates know what to expect. The starting salary for this position ranges from $108,000 to $135,000 per year. Starting pay may vary with job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
At present, our total compensation package for benefits-eligible employees includes medical, dental, and vision plans, an employer-paid 10% retirement contribution, paid parental and caregiver leave, 22 days of paid time off, 11 paid holidays, up to 12 sick days, wellness benefits, and more.
