Progressive Reporting Agency dba Motor Carrier HQ is a Salt Lake City, Utah based company, which provides consulting and a variety of administrative support services to the transportation industry.
The DOT Consortium & Clearinghouse Administrator position is responsible for assisting our clients in the monitoring and managing of CDL driver drug and alcohol compliance according to the Department of Transportation (DOT) guidelines. This is an exciting, fast paced position with a variety of responsibilities. The ideal applicant must enjoy learning new things, assisting other people, being challenged and solving problems.
Primary Duties may include, but not limited to:
- Enrolling and maintaining client's membership in DOT compliant consortium.
- Data collection and entry
- Real time support for clients who have time sensitive needs, like post-accident testing or collection issues.
- Random drug and alcohol test selection and notification
- Prepare electronic testing forms and schedule tests for drivers.
- Notify clients of random selections and due dates.
- Receiving results from the Medical Review Officer (MRO) and notifying clients of available results.
- Conducting queries on behalf of employers to check if potential or current drivers have any unresolved drug or alcohol violations in the system.
- Tracking the progress of drivers going through the return-to-duty (RTD) process after a violation, including required evaluations and testing.
- Assisting other departments, as needed.
Required Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years of administrative or business-related experiences; transportation industry or accounting experience is a plus.
- Bilingual in Spanish, a plus though not required.
- Ability to provide world-class customer service.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of individuals.
- Extremely detail-oriented, organized and able to manage time efficiently with strong follow-through skills.
- Optimistic attitude with the ability to learn, adapt and solve problems quickly.
- Upbeat and positive personality, highly motivated to succeed.
- Team player and self-starter who takes direction well but can also work independently.
- Basic knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office.
