We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as a Senior Collibra Business Analyst and contribute to the overall success of the organization and team.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Collibra Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage product development, analyze business requirements, and translate them into technical specifications. You will play a key role in defining the product roadmap, driving enhancements, creating user stories, and ensuring a high-quality user experience. Additionally, you will collect and analyze user feedback to refine the product roadmap and provide support to data producers and consumers on our marketplace. Also, Plan and coordinate various testing activities, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT), to ensure that the product meets the required standards. Track and manage defects, working with the development team to resolve issues. A high level of experience with Collibra, including its data model and functionalities, and proficiency in SQL are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Requirements Analysis:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements.
  • Translate business needs into technical specifications that guide development.
  • Raise any further questions with the product lead and/or business stakeholders
  • Enhancements and Stories:
  • Identify opportunities for product enhancements.
  • Write detailed user stories and acceptance criteria for development.
  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT):
  • Plan and coordinate UAT activities to ensure that the product meets user requirements and expectations.
  • Facilitate UAT sessions with business stakeholders and users.
  • User Experience (UX):
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers to create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces.
  • Focus on optimizing the user experience at every touchpoint.
  • User Feedback:
  • Collect and analyze feedback from users.
  • Reflect user feedback in the product roadmap to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Support for Data Producers and Consumers:
  • Provide comprehensive support to data producers and consumers on the data marketplace.
  • Communicate roles, responsibilities, and "how-to" effectively.

Qualifications

  • Business-Facing Skills:
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to interact effectively with business stakeholders.
  • Business Literacy:
    • Understanding of business processes and terminology.
    • Ability to bridge the gap between business and technology.
  • Business Analysis (BA) Skills:
    • Proficient in requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Technical Skills:
    • High level experience with Collibra, including its data model and functionalities, is essential.
    • Proficiency in SQL is required.
    • Experience with tools like Collibra and Starburst.
    • Familiarity with data management and analytics tools.
  • Jira:
    • Proficient in using Jira for managing projects and tracking progress.
  • UI/UX:
    • Understanding of user interface design and user experience principles.
    • Ability to work closely with designers to create user-centric solutions.
