Position: Aide (S2269FEDSPED)

Location: Itinerant currently G. W. Elementary School
Classification: B, C, D or F
Evaluated by: Principal/Assistant Principal
Salary Range: Service Annual Salary Schedule Salary based on experience and education level per Putnam County Board of Education salary schedule plus a competitive benefits package to include: PEIA insurance, retirement, life insurance, and free vision and dental insurance.
Job Description: The School Exceptional Education Aide supports the instructional program by performing tasks assigned by the special education teacher.
Qualifications: Holds a high school diploma or GED or TASC
Holds “Aide” classification.
Possesses strong oral and written communication skills.
Holds valid CPR and first aid cards.
Has completed training required for exceptional education aides.
Length of Employment: 200 Days
Daily Schedule: Currently – 7:15 am – 3:15 pm
Responsibilities: The Exceptional Education Aide shall have the responsibilities and duties as outlined in the Putnam County Schools Job Description Handbook.
