Contract Administrator

ITL is searching for a new member to join our team as a Contract Administrator.

ITL is a fast-growing AS9100/ISO 9001:2015 certified defense contractor who is currently seeking a Contacts Administrator. We are looking for a motivated individual to administer contracts for our US Military and federal government customers. The Contracts Administrator will work closely with the accounting, engineering, and operations departments to ensure accurate and on time deliveries to our customers.

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Review government contracts for accuracy and place purchases with vendors
• Administer government contracts and resolve contract issues to include post award requests and ensuring on-time delivery to customers
• Develop Contract Data Requirement List (CDRL) submissions to government customers
• Familiarity with NSNs, Military Standards, labeling and packaging is desired, but not necessary
• Strong computer skills in ODOO, Microsoft Outlook and Office
• Works with manufacturing and shipping to ensure products are processed properly
• Able to read and interpret instructions and technical drawings
• Interested in solving problems
• Strong attention to detail
• Fast learner with excellent communication skills
• Position will be primarily in the office, but may work some in the warehouse
• Background and reference checks will be conducted. Ethics is part of annual performance appraisals.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of contract requirements including Contract Data Requirement List (CDRL), Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense FAR Supplement (DFARS)
• Must have strong analytical and organizational capabilities
• Must have proficiency in writing and negotiating complex contractual terms and conditions in the government context
• Must have the ability to grasp and understand technical concepts and applications
• Operational knowledge of and practical use of the Microsoft Office Suite, preferably MS Word and Excel and practical use of the Internet. Knowledge of ODOO software is desired
• A Valid Drivers’ license
• Ability to lift 40 pounds

Pay: $52,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
