What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Control Technician position at ITL?
ITL LLC is looking for a professional to join our team who is interested in ensuring quality control on customer products and services.
ITL is a fast-growing AS9100/AS9120 certified defense contractor supporting customers in the Maritime, Aviation, and Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) sectors. We also provide respiratory protective equipment for fire investigators across the United States and Canada. The Quality Assurance Technician will perform material and packaging inspections, investigate discrepancies, and assist with our Quality Management System to ensure the quality of the products and services ITL provides our customers.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Perform material and packaging quality inspections IAW internal and customer requirements
- Perform contract and customer order quality review to include requirement determination, company capabilities, and review documentation.
- Perform internal tests and inspections as required,
- Review external test reports and documents for conformance to ITL and customer requirements.
- Assist with management of the QMS to include form creation, document control, and performance of internal audits
Additional Responsibilities
- Conducts training on QMS requirements and quality related topics.
- Supports customers, managers, and technical staff to ensure quality standards are communicated, understood, and followed.
- Prepare for and execute internal and external audits. Develop plans to resolve issues identified in audits and oversee implementation.
- Assist in monitoring company functions related to quality and contract conformance.
- Understanding of International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), EAR (Export Administration Regulations) and Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), dissemination of related documents is desired. The ability to handle ITAR, EAR and CUI documents is required.
- Capable of lifting 40 lbs., bend, stoop, stand, repetitive motion, etc.
- Ability to pass background investigation for access to federal government facilities. SECRET clearance is preferred but not necessary.
- Other duties as required.
