Security Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with other IT teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of security measures with overall network operations.
• Monitor security alerts and incidents, and lead the response and remediation efforts to mitigate risks.
• Stay current with the latest security threats, trends, and technologies, and proactively recommend enhancements to the security posture.
• Prepare and present security reports and metrics to senior management and the customer.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards, such as HIPAA, and maintain documentation of security controls and processes.
• Act as the primary point of contact for security-related inquiries and issues from the customer.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a senior security engineering role, with a focus on Cisco security products.
• Strong knowledge of Cisco security solutions, including Cisco WSA & ISE.
• Relevant Cisco security certifications (e.g., CCNP Security, CCIE Security) are highly desirable.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers, team members, and stakeholders.
• Experience in the healthcare industry and familiarity with HIPAA regulations is a plus.
• Ability to work onsite in Nashville, TN, and travel to customer locations as needed.
