What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facility Administrator position at ITNOVA, LLC?
Responsibilities:
· Reports to the SAMS Program Manager.
· If only Facility Administrator, report to the Line Department Lead Admin.
· Provide onsite Security Application Maintenance Services (SAMS) and software support services.
· Oversee the entire system to track, follow-up, and ensure functionality and availability of the Port Authority Security System environment, which includes the LenelS2 OnGuard, Intellicene Symphia, Genetec Security Center, Avigilon Control Center, BriefCam Video Analytics, and Vidsys Enterprise applications and systems.
o LenelS2 OnGuard access control, alarm monitoring, credentialing application software, which includes mobile badging stations, biometrics and smart card technology and all associated components.
o Intellicene Symphia VMS, which includes video recorders, encoders, decoders, IP cameras, web/smart/thick clients, media gateways, and multisite servers.
o Genetec Digital Video Recording System, which includes video recorders, encoders, decoders, IP cameras, web/smart/thick clients, media gateways, and Federation servers.
o Avigilon Digital Video Recording System, which includes video recorders, encoders, decoders, IP cameras, web/smart/thick clients, and Site Families.
o Vidsys Enterprise platform which includes head-end integration servers, connectors for various VMS integrations, and web-based clients.
o BriefCam Video Content Analytics platform which includes video synopsis servers, video processing servers, web clients, administrative applications, integrations with VMS, and a multi-site architecture.
· Perform daily, weekly, monthly and annual maintenance of the Security Applications.
· Ensure the Security Applications operate as intended and are maintained in accordance with a structured maintenance methodology.
· Maintain the Security Applications software, interfaces, integrations, and monitoring of other third-party interfaces.
· Monitor, troubleshoot, and solve problems to ensure system and application availability.
· Support enhancements.
· Perform upgrades, patches, and fixes.
· Conduct version control.
· Expand functionality.
· Provide Disaster Recovery support.
· Ensure Industry Best Practices are utilized.
· Perform Application Administration.
· Conduct Security Authorization Administration.
· Perform query and report writing.
· Work in harmony with the Port Authority Database Administrator (DBA) as needed to support the security databases.
· Oversee primary and secondary server disk mirroring.
· Work in harmony with the Port Authority Operating System Administrators (OSA) as needed.
· Work in harmony with the Facility Operators and their third-Party maintenance providers on requests for system changes as well as coordination of patch installation, upgrades, enhancements, etc.
· Keep the systems operational by monitoring the Security Applications and checking, analyzing, repairing, and reporting on the systems and their health on a daily basis.
· Monitor the Security Application, analyze and make recommendations for these system settings (e.g., frequency of replication, archives, reports, errors, logs, data retention, etc.) to ensure optimum Facility, Line Department, and Port Authority use and operation.
· Ensure that the interfaces and connections to the third party and field devices are in good working order.
· Maintain and modify the credentials of any edge devices connected to PAWANET, including but not limited to ISCs, biometric readers, etc. as requested, to adhere to the Authority cybersecurity policies.
· Maintain any edge devices procured for and in-use on the test bed environment.
· Help troubleshoot the network, panels, field devices, and related issues along with other parties who are under separate maintenance contracts.
Qualifications:
· Intellicene’s “Symphia VMS Certification Training” (version 7.7 and above) certification.
· LenelS2’s “US Certification – Core” (OnGuard version 8.0 and above) certification.
Work Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday thru Friday

Pay: $100,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
