We are seeking a Flight Information Display System (FIDS) Technician to join our team in Philadelphia, PA. This on-site role will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting FIDS hardware and software, ensuring seamless operations of airport information systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in computer systems, system analysis, and hardware/software troubleshooting.

- Install, configure, and maintain Flight Information Display System (FIDS) hardware and software.
- Perform system monitoring and troubleshooting to ensure continuous system availability.
- Analyze and resolve technical issues related to computer hardware, software, and network components.
- Collaborate with airport IT teams and vendors to support system enhancements and upgrades.
- Conduct system evaluations to ensure compliance with industry standards and security protocols.
- Document system configurations, troubleshooting procedures, and maintenance activities.
- Provide technical support and training to end users as needed.
- Assist in evaluating new technologies and system improvements for FIDS.
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related technical field.
- OR Three (3) years of equivalent experience in a related field.
- Minimum five (5) years of computer experience in at least two (2) of the following disciplines:
- Systems analysis
- Systems programming
- Application programming
- Equipment analysis
- At least three (3) years of experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Computer hardware and/or systems software support
- Systems analysis related to evaluating advanced computer hardware/software
- Large-scale system development and maintenance
- Experience working with airport IT systems, specifically FIDS.
- Familiarity with network and server infrastructure.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage on-site system operations.
- This position requires working on-site at Philadelphia International Airport (PHL).
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
- May require lifting and installation of IT equipment.
