Job Summary
My client are actively seeking a Cost Estimator with a strong background in construction cost analysis to join their team. This role involves working as an Owner’s Representative, providing accurate cost estimates, analyzing budgets, and ensuring projects remain financially viable from concept through completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed cost estimates for infrastructure, healthcare, educational, and federal projects throughout the North East & North Atlantic regions.
- Review construction plans, specifications, and contracts to assess cost implications.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and provide value engineering recommendations.
- Analyze contractor bids and negotiate pricing on behalf of clients.
- Monitor project budgets and provide real-time cost tracking.
- Work closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to align budgets with project goals.
- Ensure compliance with NYC construction codes, market conditions, and industry best practices.
