We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Process Engineer to join a leader in the manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for optimizing and improving production processes, ensuring efficiency, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety across all operations. You will work closely with production teams and other engineering professionals to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement solutions that drive performance and reduce costs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve productivity, efficiency, and quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, modify, and scale production processes to meet customer requirements and business goals.
- Analyze production data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction.
- Conduct process simulations, modeling, and evaluations to recommend process changes and upgrades.
- Lead root cause analysis and troubleshooting efforts to resolve process-related issues.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to process efficiency, downtime, and throughput.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and process documentation.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and quality control protocols.
- Support the training and development of staff to ensure consistent and safe process operations.
- Assist in the selection and specification of equipment and technology to improve process capabilities.
- Coordinate with the Quality Assurance and Maintenance teams to ensure the seamless functioning of processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Process Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience as a Process Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience in process optimization, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma, Kaizen, or similar.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and quality control systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and interpret data.
- Familiarity with CAD software, process simulation tools, and other engineering software is a plus.
- Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Preferred Skills:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Certification in Lean Six Sigma or similar process improvement methodologies.
- Knowledge of automation and control systems in manufacturing processes.
Salary : $80,000 - $100,000
