The selected individuals will join a dynamic group of transportation professionals, playing a key role in the growth and success of the Construction Management and Resident Engineering Inspection team throughout the New York Metro Area.
Key Responsibilities :
- Supervise all activities of the project and ensure full compliance to project plans and specifications.
- Manage a staff of construction inspectors, office engineers and administrative staff.
- Manage the scope, budget, quality, safety, and schedule of work.
- Maintain custody of all construction related permits, plans, approvals, drawings, etc., related to the project.
- Recognize, minimize, or eliminate jobsite and public hazards, through required planning, inspection, verification, and corrective action process.
- Monitor the conditions at the site for conformance with the Contractor’s Site Safety Plan, Agency policies, permits, and all applicable regulations and documentation that pertain to construction safety.
- Review project submittals including quality, security, and safety plans, work plans, and schedules; Validate and monitor Contractor’s invoices for payment in accordance with progress of the work.
