Who You Are

The Director of Sales leads the sales team, driving strategic growth initiatives to expand market share and revenue. This individual will manage and inspire a high-performing sales team, develop and execute strategic sales plans, and build long-term relationships with key partners.

 

Your Skills and Background:

 

  • 5 years of experience in sales management, preferably in a Managed Service Provider (MSP), IT services, or technology environment
  • Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing sales teams to exceed targets
  • Strong understanding of IT services and their business applications
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and coach a team
  • Ability to analyze complex data and develop sales reports and forecasts to guide decision-making
  • Experience with CRM systems and sales tools

 


What You Will Do

 

  • Develop and implement sales strategy that includes sales goals, quotas and objectives
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team to achieve individual and team performance targets
  • Create, monitor, analyze and report on sales performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective measures
  • Align sales strategies with marketing leader and executive stakeholders
  • Identify, write and implement sales processes
  • Ensure sales team is following established processes
  • Collaborate with the various teams to align service offerings with parnter needs and market demands
  • Oversee the comprehensive planning, allocation, and management of the sales department's budget to ensure optimal resource utilization
  • Monitor and supply insights on industry trends, competitor moves, and market dynamics
  • Identify new markets or verticals for ITPartners to expand into and create plans for those viable
  • Conduct growth analyses and assessments to identify and prioritize M&A opportunities aligned with company objectives
