Full time salaried opportunity for an experienced leader in Identity and Access Management.
This role is 100% onsite in the Minneapolis area, therefore seeking candidates local to Twin Cities. Client has work authorization status requirements of US Citizen or GC holder.
What you'll do : Oversee the systems and process that manage user identities, access rights, and authentication within the organization. Responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive Identity Management strategy that ensures compliance with global regulatory standards, managing access controls and preventing unauthorized access across the enterprise.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive IAM strategy aligned with the organization's goals and regulatory requirements
- Lead and manage the IAM team, providing direction, coaching, and professional development.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to integrate IAM practices into broader cybersecurity and IT strategies.
- Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of IAM systems and solutions, including identity governance, authentication, authorization, and privileged access management.
- Ensure that IAM processes support business needs while maintaining security, compliance, and user experience. Develop and maintain IAM policies, standards, and procedures.
- Identify and mitigate IAM-related risks, ensuring that security controls are effectively implemented and maintained.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and frameworks, such as GDPR, HIPAA, SOX, and NIST.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments of IAM processes and systems.
- Evaluate and recommend IAM technologies and tools to enhance security and efficiency.
- Lead initiatives to automate IAM processes, reduce manual interventions, and improve overall system performance.
- Serve as the subject matter expert on IAM, providing guidance and support for related projects and initiatives.
- Lead, mentor, manage, and staff an IAM team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and promoting a culture of excellence.
