Contract consulting opportunity for an Infrastructure Business Analyst

Location: Hybrid onsite – St. Paul, MN

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

As a skilled IT Infrastructure Business Analyst you will work between IT infrastructure and business needs, ensuring technology solutions support and enhance company objectives. This role requires collaboration with IT teams and stakeholders to optimize system performance, enforce compliance standards, and oversee server patching and remediation efforts for servers and network environments.

• Act as a liaison between IT infrastructure teams and business stakeholders, translating technology needs into practical solutions.
• Analyze and assess IT systems, network environments, and server configurations to ensure alignment with business goals.
• Ensure servers remain compliant with security patching, vulnerability remediation, and industry standards.
• Monitor and document patching cycles, remediation progress, and compliance metrics for IT assets.
• Provide technical recommendations to enhance infrastructure efficiency, security, and scalability.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to mitigate risks associated with outdated software and hardware vulnerabilities.
• Develop reports and dashboards to communicate infrastructure performance, compliance status, and business impact.

EXPERIENCE

• Experience in IT infrastructure analysis, business process evaluation, and system optimization
• Knowledge of patch management tools, vulnerability remediation frameworks, and compliance best practices
• Strong technical understanding of servers, networks, and cloud environments
• Ability to translate business objectives into technical solutions
• Data analysis skills with experience generating compliance reports and tracking KPIs
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work cross-functionally with IT and business teams
• Familiarity with IT governance frameworks, cybersecurity practices, and risk management strategies.

The W2 pay range for this type of role is approximately $40.00 - $68.00 per billable hour. This range is an estimate and not a guarantee of compensation.
