3 month contract to hire opportunity for a Product Analyst/Developer

3 month contract to hire opportunity for a Systems Test Analyst with development experience.

Client requirements:

• Local to Minneapolis metro - hybrid onsite: 3 days/week
• Work authorization status: US Citizen or GC holder
• W2 hourly only - no C2C

KEY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

• Development experience – 1 years (can be in any of these: SQL, XML, JSON, .NET, Java)
• Analysis experience – 1 years (requirements gathering, technical requirements documents, user story creation, supporting development on 2 week agile sprint basis)
• Jira, VB experiene
• Testing experience – 1 years (creating and executing test plans and test scripts)

What you'll do: This team is responsible for the successful implementation of complex calculations in the policy administration system. You will work directly with the product configuration analysts to test critical processes within the Life Insurance & Annuity Platform system related to the configuration of insurance/annuity products.

• Spporting a Product(workflow product). Team will be focusing on the configuration, development and testing.
• Ability to think through and understand the product and process in order to not just do the job, but to apply it. Need to be able to develop tools
• For testing, abilty to navigate and test policy transactions. SQL experience and MS Excel experience to build up calculations in the system.
• Utilize Jira and will work in an agile workflow delivery process.
• For configuration, you'll work within the UI (the focus isn't validation/testing) rather about figuring out the design, how do I fit the logic into the framework? Can I share it? Must be mindful of the performance as well. .
• Develop in-depth understanding of complex insurance and annuity product features and requirements
• Solve complex problems considering required business functionality, sustainability and scalability of solutions
• Develop and maintain validation tools
• Collaborate with business and IT teams on test execution
• Troubleshoot, debug and fix issues as they arise in lower and production environments.
• Provide subject matter expertise to stakeholders on system functionality
• Develop product expertise for all lines of business
• Work within an Agile environment focused on product delivery
• Communicate effectively with various teams, 3 rd party vendors, and team members to improve turnaround time and efficiency

The W2 pay range for this type of role is approximately $30.00 - $45.00 per billable hour. This range is an estimate and not a guarantee of compensation.
