Project Manager – Citrix VDI and Apps Migration

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the Citrix VDI and Apps migration to Azure Cloud initiative. In this role, you will work with cross-functional global teams to ensure seamless project execution, proactively address risks, and drive successful delivery.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate collaboration across cross-functional global teams to ensure smooth project delivery
• Proactively monitor the project to identify and mitigate critical path and resource issues
• Manage project documentation in alignment with industry standards, including status reports, risk management, and meeting records
• Track progress, quality, risks, and issues, escalating concerns to leadership as needed
• Maintain and manage project plans in MS Project Server, including budgeting, forecasting, and invoice mapping
• Develop and execute a communication plan covering stakeholder updates, change management, and internal team collaboration
• Partner with resource managers to align work efforts with appropriate staffing
• Oversee release management processes to ensure timely and effective delivery
• Interface with stakeholders to manage expectations and escalations
• Ensure compliance with project delivery processes and standards

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix Gateway, and virtualization technologies
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, etc.) and Citrix integrations, including knowledge of IaaS and cloud security best practices
• Basic understanding of networking (VPN, firewalls, load balancers), server infrastructure, and endpoint management
• Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project for planning and tracking
• Experience with formal risk management techniques
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder relationships

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 5 years of IT delivery management experience
• PMP certification or formal project management training preferred
• Citrix VDI cloud migration experience

The W2 pay range for this type of role is approximately $65.00 - $75.00 per billable hour. This range is an estimate and not a guarantee of compensation.
