Title : Senior Software Engineer (Java / AWS) - The Bernard Group

Location : 100% remote, but must be within 2 hours of the Twin Cities

Duration : 6 month contract to hire (no visa sponsorship or c2c)

Conversion salary : 140-150K

We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join our innovative and fast-paced team. You will be working with cutting-edge AWS cloud technologies, and we are committed to continuous innovation. If you're excited about serverless computing, microservices, and modern front-end technologies, this is the role for you.

What You'll Do :

  • Develop and enhance software solutions using Java and AWS.
  • Contribute to our transition from a monolithic architecture to microservices and serverless computing.
  • Leverage Node.js for serverless solutions using AWS Lambda.
  • Utilize DynamoDB and other AWS services to build scalable applications.

What We're Looking For :

  • 6 years of Java experience
  • Mid-to-senior level AWS expertise (5 years preferred) and a passion for AWS technologies.
  • Full-stack experience with an emphasis on back-end development.
  • Experience with React and JavaScript is a big plus.
  • Familiarity with Node.js for serverless applications is highly desirable.
  • Experience with AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, and other cloud-native technologies.
