Contract consulting opportunity for an experienced SAP ISU Solutions Support Analyst.
Client requirements :
Work authorization status : US Citizen or GC holder
W2 hourly only (no c2c)
Hybrid onsite - seeking candidates to work onsite in Minneapolis metro or Eau Claire WI area
What you'll do : As a SAP ISU Support Analyst you'll assist in managing the meter asset lifecycle management solution using SAP Industry Solution for Utilities (ISU). The role focuses on resolving incidents, supporting system enhancements, and troubleshooting, with an emphasis on identifying root causes and coordinating remediation efforts. The resource will work closely with business and technical teams but will not be responsible for direct "hands-on keyboard" incident resolution.
Monitor and assess incidents, prioritizing impact and system / process improvements.
Collaborate with business and technical teams to troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
Support system enhancement initiatives and process optimizations.
Conduct daily standups and troubleshooting sessions.
Assist in root cause analysis and propose resolutions.
Work independently and within a team to ensure smooth system operations.
Internal vs. External Support : Will provide internal business support rather than working with external customers.
Experience :
Experience working with SAP ISU, including meter asset lifecycle management.
Strong understanding of system troubleshooting and incident resolution processes.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technical support and business stakeholders.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
Team & Work Environment :
The role is part of a five-person team.
The candidate will work closely with three other team members who specialize in SAP ISU and will provide training support.
Two additional teammates will focus on reading applications.
The team operates in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Ramp-up Timeline :
Expected training and onboarding will take approximately 3-6 months to gain a comprehensive understanding of the company's processes, procedures, and policies.
