Contract consulting opportunity for an experience UI Designer.
Client requirements:
Play a critical role on the design team by focusing on translating feature-level design work into detailed development specifications. You will leverage design systems and best practice UI patterns to ensure consistency, usability, accessibility, and quality across our digital products. You will work closely with senior designers and cross-functional teams, including product owners, developers, scrum masters, and accessibility analysts to deliver intuitive and user-friendly interfaces.
Client requirements:
- Hybrid onsite: Local to either Denver, CO or Minneapolis, MN
- Work authorization requirements: US CITIZEN or GC HOLDER
- W2 hourly only, no C2C
- Must have portfolio available
Play a critical role on the design team by focusing on translating feature-level design work into detailed development specifications. You will leverage design systems and best practice UI patterns to ensure consistency, usability, accessibility, and quality across our digital products. You will work closely with senior designers and cross-functional teams, including product owners, developers, scrum masters, and accessibility analysts to deliver intuitive and user-friendly interfaces.
- Collaborate with senior designers, product owners and scrum masters to understand feature requirements and delivery timelines and expectations.
- Translate high-level design concepts into detailed development specifications, including documentation, edge cases and empty/error states.
- Utilize thoughtful layers, assets, design systems and UI patterns to create consistent and scalable design solutions.
- Ensure all design work aligns with best practices for usability, accessibility, and responsive design.
- Work closely with developers to ensure accurate implementation of design specifications.
- Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve design practices.
- Collaborate with PO and scrum masters
- Translate high level designs into useful requirements
- Utilize software layers to create useful software solutions
- Adhere to responsible design
- Work with the devs to coordinate design efforts
- Strong experience in Figma, understands all of the different tools, and is an expert in design systems
- Eye for aesthetic to translate high level ui into a useable enriching experience
