Field Service Vibration and Oil Technician

The ITR Company, a leading predictive maintenance firm serving customers in over 20 countries and 40 states, is seeking a qualified and motivated individual for the position of Field Service Technician for the Mesa, AZ area. We are a 40-year old small-business with a strong research and development focus related to machine condition monitoring, industrial analytics, and asset management.

We are seeking a mechanically inclined problem solver with strong social skills and penchant for working in industrial environments. The successful candidate must have a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently with limited supervision. In this position you will:

· Support Vibration Analysts and Account Managers with identifying customer requirements, ensuring these requirements are understood within ITR, fulfilling these requirements, and identifying opportunities for improving the service across all serviced accounts;

· Check-in with customers prior to performing work to review past reports and obtain visit specific requirements;

· Collect and send vibration data, oil samples, and related machine data per ITR procedures;

· Work closely with and coordinate communication between the Customer and Analyst to ensure potential problems are addressed quickly.

Essentially, we are looking for a smart, self-motivated individual with industrial experience who enjoys working in a plant/mill/mine environment and excels at customer relationship management. Your time management, safety, and interpersonal skills are far more important to us than specific work experience. However, we do have a few requirements; you must:

· Have a valid drivers license along with no major violations/infractions;

· Be able to pass a State/Federal background check;

· Have deductive reasoning and the ability to problem solve;

· Have excellent interpersonal skills, be flexible and creative, a good communicator, and demonstrate a strong customer service attitude;

· Be able to work with the public and the skills necessary to work effectively as a team member;

· Have basic computer skills: navigate the internet, use email, learn new computer and smart phone applications;

· Communicate effectively verbally and through writing.

Physical requirements of the position include:

· Required to walk for long periods;

· Frequent ladder climbing required;

· Occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds;

· Occasionally required to stand to address groups of people;

· Occasional work on weekends and evenings;

· Frequent travel to customer sites to collect data.
