Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with property standards and regulations while providing exceptional customer service. This position requires a strong understanding of property maintenance, legal administrative processes, and conflict management skills. The Inspector will be responsible for evaluating properties, negotiating terms, and assisting with leasing processes, particularly in relation to Section 8 housing.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of properties to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Evaluate property maintenance needs and recommend necessary repairs or improvements.
- Review legal documents related to property leasing and Section 8 agreements.
- File necessary paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
- Negotiate lease terms with prospective tenants while ensuring adherence to legal guidelines.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing tenant inquiries and resolving conflicts effectively.
- Assist in upselling available properties or services to potential clients.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, negotiations, and tenant interactions.
Requirements
- Proven experience in property maintenance or related fields is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of legal administrative processes, particularly concerning property law.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to handle conflicts professionally.
- Familiarity with Section 8 housing regulations is a plus.
- Outstanding customer service skills with a focus on tenant satisfaction.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
